19cm is the average bracelet length, 16cm and 17cm are usually a child's size. A great way to check your wrist size is with a piece of string, make sure you leave enough space so the bracelet will be comfortable once you have added the beads to it!

Is the oxidised bracelet sterling silver and will this finish last?
These bracelets are made of sterling silver but have been specially treated so they have a dark tarnished appearance. This effect will wear off over about a month of constant wear and will end up with an antique look with the crevices still black but the raised surfaces will have more of a silver look.
Is the bracelet creator life-size?
While we have done our best to let you see what your finished bracelet will look like the bracelet creator bracelet and beads are approximate sizes only. The beads have been photographed to give maximum detail and so are generally a little larger then life size.
Do I need to take any special care of my bracelet?
Like any precious jewellery you need to treat your bracelet with care. While they are made to be worn every day we do not recommend wearing your bracelet in the shower, as water can damage some of the beads. If your bracelet is looking dull we recommend using the Pandora polishing cloth. They can be purchased at our Newmarket, Albany and Queen Street stores and also online, they can be found in the Accessories category
How many beads fit on a bracelet?
Beads range in width from 3mm for the spacers to 1cm for some of the wider beads so the total number of beads per bracelet will vary. It also depends on the length of the bracelet but most will fit about 15-25 beads.
What is a fixed bead?
A fixed bead is hinged and when it is clipped onto either of the two internal threads on your Pandora bracelet they will not move. They are used to keep your beads in three sections, and also are useful because they make your bracelet run over your arm smoothly. Fixed beads can also be clipped onto the main part of the bracelet, where they will move along but not go past the thread. This can be helpful as it ensures none of the beads will fall off when taking your bracelet on and off.
What is a spacer?
A spacer is a smaller bead that has a variety of uses. They can be put on either side of a very special bead to make it stand out. The spacers with gemstones can add a lot of colour to a bracelet without taking up much space. If you want to add some gold to your bracelet, the gold spacers are a cost effective way of doing this, especially when they are put next to one of the sterling silver and gold beads to highlight the gold accents.
